What about all those email solicitations you keep getting from strange insurance companies?  
#1, they are not insurance companies. 
#2, the savings they mention don't mean a thing.  VALUE is what counts because (strangely enough) you want your insurance company to last longer than you do. 
#3, do you really want to give your address away to someone whose address changes almost daily?

Thank you for contacting us regarding the (email) solicitation you received. Our consumer services operations are in the Los Angeles area and our officers are constantly bombarded with these unsolicited, and often illegal, ads in the mail, email, and in various media. We address them when we can but unfortunately, the internet has presented new problems in enforcement, one being that people can generate messages from a blind location (a hole), then pull the hole in after them. We don't have the resources to pursue every infraction but even if we did, this solicitation wouldn't have a high priority.

I have communicated with the sender of your solicitation, giving the legal requirements for such messages and hopefully, as knowledge and awareness increase, this type of spam will disappear and we will be able to directly confront violators.
